Top 5 reasons to follow the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Mexico City Masters 2017

MEXICO CITY (FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - We give you 5 reasons to follow the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Mexico City Masters for free on our Facebook and YouTube channels on September 30 and October 1st.

At number one, our favorite question of the weekend is how much money will the World Tour players collect for charity? 2 weeks after a deadly earthquake struck the country, we wanted to show our support to the people of Mexico. That’s why for every dunk at the Mexico City Masters, FIBA will donate 100 USD to a local charity.

At 2, we have a race for the last 2 tickets to the World Tour Final. Lausanne and Humpolec are in the driver’s seat but Hamamatsu are guaranteed to go to Beijing if they finish at least 6th in Mexico. And if a team currently out of the Top 12 like Sao Paulo DC win it in Mexico, then they will automatically earn their ticket to the Final.

Speaking of Sao Paulo DC, it’s the return of pretty boy Soriani, the #1 3x3 player in Brazil. The 28-year-old has more swag than Melo’s hoodie and is looking to make the trip to his 3rd World Tour Final in a row.

We’ve been waiting for his return more than season 3 of Mr Robot, the American star Chris Reaves is back with Team Wukesong. The MVP of the Beijing Masters 2015 can break ankles and when he drives to the rim, he goes harder than Cardi B on Bodak Yellow. “Don’t get commmmmmmmmmmmfortable”.

Last but not least, at 5, after what they did in Debrecen, Team Liman have our attention. We promise Kyle won’t ever butcher any Polish name again if we get a rematch of Liman versus Novi Sad Al Wahda in the Mexican capital. But this time, Stefan Stojacic, remember: you gotta finish.

This could have been the ankle-breaker of the year. πŸ•ΊπŸ’₯πŸš‘ #3x3WT Feat. @stefan_stojacic_teji89
