About Prague Masters

The third stage of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2018 is held in Prague, Czech Republic on August 4-5, 2018.

The participating teams compete for two days for the pride to represent their city, a USD 30,000 cheque and a chance to qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Bloomage Beijing Final on October 27-28, 2018.

This is the sixth time that Prague hosts the FIBA 3x3 World Tour. Novi Sad Alwahda (UAE) won the event last year, with Ljubljana (SLO) winning in 2016. Kranj (SLO), won in 2015, Novi Sad (SRB) in 2014 and 2013.

Venue

The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Prague Masters 2018 will take place in front of the Prague Castle - one of the most famous and visited monuments in the Czech Republic - on August 4-5, 2018.

The Czech capital will host a FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters for the 6th consecutive year in 2018. For the last 5 years, the event took place in the heart of the city, on Wenceslas Square, another UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Czech Castle was built in the 9th century and is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, - according to the Guinness Book of World Records - with an area of almost 70,000 m².

The Castle is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic and used to be home of the Holy Roman Emperors.
