2 tickets to FIBA 3x3 Los Angeles Masters up for grabs at 3x3 Yichang Challenger

YICHANG (China) - Liman (SRB) and Piran (SLO) are the favorites to stamp their tickets to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Los Angeles Masters, powered by L.A. Times at the Yichang Challenger on July 13-14, 2019.

The #1 seed Liman (SRB) will build on their 3rd-place finish at the Mexico City Masters to earn a place at the Los Angeles Masters, powered by L.A. Times. They were seeded in Pool A with Ulaanbaatar (MGL) and Shenzhen SandyQuan (CHN),

Good luck to Antwerp (BEL) on Pool B as there were seeded with 2 teams who won a Challenger in the last 7 days: Piran (SLO) in Poitiers and the new kids on the block from Korolev (RUS) who won their 1st pro title in Ekaterinburg on Wednesday.

Gagarin (RUS) and Tokyo DIME (JPN) headline Pool C. The Russians need to bounce back after their quarter-final loss in Ekaterinburg against Beijing, who were placed in Pool D with Ralja Intergalactic (SRB).

Neman (BLR), Inje (CHN) and Geelong SuperCats (AUS) will compete for the last spot in Pool C, while Chongming YM (CHN), Zigui (CHN) and Zhaojun (CHN) will fight to make it to Pool D.

The winners in Yichang take home $15,000 USD and there is $32,000 overall in prize money - a significant increase from $20,000 in challengers last year.

The two top teams will earn tickets for the Los Angeles Masters powered by L.A. Times on September 20-21 in the ninth stop on this season’s FIBA 3x3 World Tour.

World No.1 Novi Sad (SRB) and Zemun (USA) have already qualified for the event.
