Hosts Lausanne Sport bring the house down on Day 1 at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Lausanne Masters 2022, presented by Yuh

LAUSANNE (Switzerland) - Local favorites Lausanne Sport (SUI) were a force on Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Lausanne Masters 2022, presented by Yuh on August 19.

THE TEAM

The Swiss team first defeated the #1 team in the World Ub Huishan NE, ending their 14-game-winning streak in the process on a Maurice Lacroix Buzzer Beater with the final score of 21-20.

Still not impressed? Lausanne Sport also knocked out last year's Lausanne Masters winners San Juan (PUR) and advanced as first in Pool A.

 

THE PLAYER

"Doctor Strange" Strahinja Stojacic proved once again why he's the #1 3x3 player in the World and led Ub Huishan NE to the knock-out rounds of the Lausanne Masters presented by Yuh.  He led all players in scoring (21 points) and player value (22.5).

- Antwerp was the team to watch with 13 highlights.
