Vienna win FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters presented by Unibet

AMSTERDAM (Netherlands)  - Vienna won the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters presented by Unibet on October 6-7, which marked the 100th Masters since the start of the World Tour in 2012.

The Austrian team won their second World Tour Masters in Amsterdam, defeating Miami in the final 21-19. The title decider was a rematch of the Cebu Masters Final from 2 weeks ago where Miami won their first-ever Masters, but the story would be different this time.

Enis Murati grabbed the headlines. With his side holding a 20-19 lead, he drove to the bucket and scored the game-winner in front of a full venue to give the Austrians their first World Tour Masters of the year - and second ever.

Quincy Diggs, the number 1 3x3 player in the U.S, was named MVP of the competition after finishing the event with 29 points, leading his team in Player Value as well.

In the individual contests, Alan Boger (Dusseldorf LFDY) won the Odido Shoot-Out contest, while Piotr "Grabo" Grabowski took home the Maurice Lacroix Dunk Contest.

Exciting, urban and innovative, 3x3 is inspired by several forms of streetball played worldwide and is considered the world’s number one urban team sport. Steered by FIBA, games see two teams of three players face off on a basketball half-court.

It was played successfully for the first time in international competition at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and since then has benefited from the launch of a yearly professional circuit for men and women (World Tour and Women’s Series respectively) and national-team competitions.

3x3 made its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Wilson is the Global Ball Partner. Maurice Lacroix is the Official Timekeeper and Chooks-to-Go the Global Partner of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2023.

FIBA 3x3 events are played on Enlio floors with Wilson balls, Schelde backstops, Bodet shot-clocks and the Magic Sky canopy system.
